Scouted by Ellen Chenoweth for a leading role in David Chase's Paramount Film "Not Fade Away," Brahm left Bard College for NYC. He has continued to work as a multi-instrumentalist musician in bands, a street performer, and an actor in national commercials, independent films, and immersive theatre.
Brahm has studied with some of the titans of New York and Los Angeles, most notably Bob Krakower, Lesly Kahn, Warner Loughlin, Tim Phillips, and comedy writer Jerry Corley. Classically trained in violin with higher studies at Bard in theatre, movement, and music composition, he pursues a multi-disciplinary performance approach to roles. Known for a beguiling quirkiness that alludes to a devious mind, and a mysterious depth laced under his ready laugh and affable ease, Brahm finds a balance between the offbeat good guy and the sinister charmer.
During his three years in New Orleans, Brahm became part of multiple artist collectives and performance groups, including percussion in an Afro-Brazilian ensemble, large scale art fabrication and installation, costuming and performance for Mardi Gras Krewes, DJing, immersive fringe fest plays, and was involved in the formation of a regional Burning Man-inspired annual festival. He is currently studying German to add to his proficient French and fundamental Spanish, as world travel has and continues to be one of his great passions. Shakespeare wrote that 'all the world's a stage' and Brahm endeavors to fulfill that ideology wherever he roams, so stay in touch to see what's next!
Brahm currently lives in Munich, Germany and has launched YO BOOCH Craft Kombucha with his wife, Irina. It is an organic kombucha brand focusing on the healthy lifestyle trend and can be found at yobooch.com
